Wine Type:Dry Red Wine
Tasting Notes:Deep, bright garnet in colour, the 2012 Merlot exhibits a perfumed nose of cherries, plums, red currant, rhubarb and traces of violets, earth and leather. Ripe plums and cherries showcase on the palate with tobacco leaf and a slight hint of cinnamon. Full-bodied and well balanced, the chalky tannins allow for a deep, rich lingering finish.
Food Pairing:Fusilli with spicy italian sausage and fennel, Pancetta and mozzeralla stuffed meatloaf, roasted chicken and turkey, herb crust veal chops
