Lambert Estate Wines

Winery SignIn 2004 Jim Lambert ventured into the wine industry, after purchasing a vineyard in the Barossa Valley. Jim for many years had been interested in wine drinking, and he had a vision of producing premium wines from the grapes he grew himself to enjoy with friends family and the world.

In 2011 the winery, previously known as Stanley Lambert Wines, officially changed its name to Lambert Estate Wines, and the new signs were put up at the cellar door.  Jim’s son Kirk took over as winemaker and joined by his soon to be wife, Vanesa, combining their knowledge of winemaking and working together created an exciting new vision for the direction of Lambert Estate Wines.

We are constantly evolving, both in the winery and in the vineyard.  Producing about 200 tons of grapes each year, Vanesa and Kirk find themselves very busy throughout the year trying to express the depth and variety of grapes from this unique region.  Jim careful watches over the vineyard, ensuring that each vine is nurtured to produce only the best fruit it can.  Experts are constantly consulted to help ensure the Lambert Estate vineyard continues to produce excellent quality fruit with the highest standards and sustainable practices available today.

Lambert Estate Wines have been busy redeveloping the market in the USA, currently serving over 20 states, while retaining their following in restaurants and markets around the world.
